I knew that I would love Valerie and Jason from the minute they walked into Starbucks for our first consultation.  Valerie had an amazing bag (that she made - how cool is she??) and Jason had a happy ease to him that is so much fun to be around. My initial hunch was totally right.  I love how Valerie and Jason totally dig each other – it is so sweet.  Needless to say, I am way excited for Valerie and Jason’s wedding – bright colors, zebra print, and lots of fun will be had.

For their eSession, we spent a beee-autiful and breezy morning in Las Colinas.  I adore the fact that both Valerie and Jason had a high level of enthusiasm throughout their entire session.  They are beautiful peeps inside and out and absolutely a joy to be around.  To see more wonderful goodness from Valerie and Jason, click HERE or on one of the photos below.

Anne and Ben’s eSession may just be one of my all-time favorite sessions. Ever. When I spoke with Anne about what they wanted, it was clear that these two weren’t the sit-in-front-of-a-flower-bush-and-pose kind of couple. They wanted something personal and photojournalistic. We discussed places that are special to them as a couple and they suggested that we go to a sushi bar by their house (which they cleared with the restaurant owners of course). I was beyond stoked – I love out-of-the-box shoots!

I felt like I was just talking with friends over their dinner – and I really had a blast getting to know Anne and Ben on a more personal level. Anne and Ben live right around the corner from the sushi place, so we wrapped things up at their house. We even managed to squeeze some shots of the four-legged family members as well! The “natural” approach worked out really well to capture the connection between Anne and Ben. They are so hip and so kind – I wish I could just bottle them up (but the photos will have to do).

I love love love this couple! Why? They’re hilarious, genuine, and we were able to put a personal touch into their engagement shoot. For their eSession, we went to downtown Denton – a place that Roxanne and Sam frequent when they hang out. We were able to capture special locations and really make the images more meaningful (which is one of my favorite things to do). Even though I did this shoot a long time ago (and I’m attempting to catch up on posts), I remember that I laughed until my sides hurt during this session. There is a cool playfulness with Roxanne and Sam that is addictive and fun to watch.

It was so fun to walk around Denton and try some new things as the mood caught us. They were to trying anything and the session just rocked from beginning to end. I have to say that Sam is probably one of the most animated guys I’ve ever shot! Roxanne and Sam – thanks for being such good sports and for making me love my job so much!
