I don’t know what has happened, but things have been rocking on the highest level possible and I have had the pleasure of shooting some of the most amazing people lately! One example took place recently with the O’Learys. When I first met up with them, I thought I had walked into a magazine. They are all so gorgeous and perfect! I was so stoked that they brought enthusiasm and fun attitudes (and props) with them. They are just as sweet and kind and personable as they can be and I loved soaking in the girls’ awesomeness!
The weather was perfect (don’t you love that fall weather has finally arrived?) and I couldn’t imagine a better family to shoot. Balloons, sports teams, tutus, lollipops, bubbles, and great smiles? Yes, please. And then some. The O’Learys are an ideal example of a strong family and I’m so blessed to have had the opportunity to have capture some fun moments with them.

Cari and Michael (and Winston, their precious puppy) are the bomb dot com. They are bright (mega smart med school students), have marvelous laughs, and are amazing together as a couple. AND they are doing something awesome for their wedding next year… instead of favors, Cari and Michael are donating funds to the SPCA (how cool is that?!?).
I was thankful for the amazing weather during their eSession in Colleyville. We just strolled around had a blast talking and soaking up the sun. Cari’s mother played the role of Super Mom by helping out with touch ups and holding Winston in between his shots. More than anything, it was so precious to see how Cari and Michael interact with each other. They are caring and uplift one another in all that they do and I know that they will have an amazing marriage.

I love Kyla and Kyle. For reals, people. These two lovlies are so sweet, so amazing, and so so very kind. When they talked about going to the State Fair for their engagements, I knew we would have fun, but I had no idea how much of a blast we would have. Their dynamic personalities and genuine joy for one another made for easy work on my end. They are gorgeous inside and out and I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
Oh – one of them attended UT and the other is from OU… I’ll let you figure out who went where.

Kyla and Kyle – thanks for a wonderful day and for sharing your “happies” with me!
Zebra print, twirling bridesmaids, and a fake leg. All of these things were found at Valerie and Jason’s wedding. I absolutely love couples that break the mold and infuse their weddings with unexpected surprises. And to top it all off, they have been adorable to work with for their engagement and bridal sessions. These two have been melting me for months and I was anxious for their big day.
My favorite part of the whole day was when Valerie and Jason held hands between a door just minutes before their ceremony. They couldn’t see each other, but you could feel their anxiousness and sweet emotion. Jason is so totally nuts for Valerie and the way he looked at her coming down the aisle was right up there with my top memorable moments. The ceremony was so full of meaning, as Valerie’s dad officiated (so sweet!).
Valerie and Jason wanted their wedding to reflect their personalities and relationship. From the “zebra” bridesmaids dancing down the aisle to the shoe-shaped cake knife to the “fake leg” trick during the garter toss, they really had fun and enjoyed the entire evening. This couple is mega adored by their family and friends and their guests enveloped them with celebration.
