Shooting Jessica and Matt’s wedding was a really cool experience for me – Jessica and I used to work for the same company and as such, I already knew how awesome of a bride she was going to be. When I found out that she and Matt were tying the knot at the beautiful Heard Museum, I was even more thrilled – the location is gorgeous and it was a fitting backdrop for this lovely couple. When Jessica was walking up to the venue with all her “getting ready” stuff, she stopped and embraced me with one of the best hugs I think I’ve ever received. She’s just that kind of person – so caring, loving, and kind that it’s easy to see why she is adored by her family and friends.
The reception hall was decorated so beautifully that I thought that the couple had hired a professional planner. Come to find out, Matt’s talented stepmother was the creative force behind the decorations and she did such a wonderful job on coordinating all the details. I could tell that both sides of the family were filled with genuine and thoughtful people, so the atmosphere of the wedding and reception was awesome.
Jessica and Matt were wed on a beautiful day and the frequent glances and smiles exchanged between the couple said more than words can describe. Matt is a funny guy and it was so sweet to watch him and Jessica interact – they are a great team. It was a treat to see a table full of my old coworkers and to catch up on how everyone was doing. I hear that Jessica and Matt love married life and are enjoying this new phase. Congratulations on Jessica and Matt – it was an honor and pleasure to shoot your special day!
