Robyn and Chase

I don’t even know how to start describing all the fun I had and wonderful things I experienced at Robyn and Chase’s wedding. The big day was held at Castle Douglas in Rockwall – FABULOUS. This venue has a great staff and is a super place to shoot. I could have probably spent an entire day with my camera there. (Who doesn’t like castles?) Needless to say, it was a perfect location for Robyn and Chase’s fairytale wedding.

Everything went beautifully during the ceremony and the reception was a sea of smiles. I’m still convinced that I am somehow blessed to work with the most adorable and sweet families in the world. I think all the guests (including me) felt the love between Robyn and her mother when they did a special dance together towards the end of the evening.  Chase was great – such a happy guy!  I’ve never seen a groom have so much fun at a wedding before… it was adorable to see and his love for Robyn is undeniable.

I was able to sneak off with the couple during the reception for about five minutes to get some snaps in front of the castle. It’s hard to take newlyweds away from festivities, but it’s always well worth it. I would like to extend a special thanks to my rockin’ second shooter, Katie, for her solid help (especially for covering the shots from the balcony!). Congrats and best wishes, Robyn and Chase – it was truly a special and memorable evening and a pleasure to be a part of!
