I have been more than horrible about updating the site as of lately. I hope that everyone had a great holiday season and have nestled into a wonderful 2008 thus far. In December, Jeromy and I found a wonderful house and closed right before Christmas. As much as we love the location and everything, we had a good amount of work for us when we closed. The last several weeks have been spent scraping, peeling, painting, etc. The countertops came in last night and I can’t wait to get them installed this weekend. The flooring that was ordered for the entryway and kitchen is almost two weeks late, so we’ve been walking on concrete for a while. All of my stuff has made it to the house but is not unpacked yet. But that will come.
Jeromy will be moving some of his stuff from storage over soon and will officially move in after the wedding. I can’t believe that Jeromy and I are getting married in 50 days! We got invitations mailed out last weekend, so I’m looking forward to the RSVPs to start rolling in. Life has been incredibly hectic but it’s been great. I’m so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family during this time.
Enough about me… I really would like to try to post some events from late 2007. There have been great bridals, engagements and weddings lately. The gallery has been updated, so feel free to take a peek. In my effort to try to update the site more regularly, I wanted to post some pictures from Krystina and Andrew’s wedding from a few months back. These two have a wonderful story - Krystina went to school across the pond and met Andrew while in college. They fell in love and decided to get married in Weatherford, Texas (she told me that she likes to joke and say that she brought back the ultimate souvenir from her travels).
Everything for the wedding was amazingly beautiful. Many of the guests came all of the way from England, which was awesome! Both Krystina and Andrew’s family are so kind and warm. One of the most touching moments for me was when Krystina danced with her grandfather - you could really see how close they are and just how much they love each other.
I loved how unique the evening was… Ollie, the couples’ dog, served as the ring bearer for the ceremony and all of bridesmaids looked great in their different black dresses. This wedding was truly a sweet celebration of this wonderful couple’s relationship. It was so awesome to see the joy that Krystina and Andrew had together and the passion they exhibit for each other. I am so honored to have been part of Krystina and Andrew’s wedding - the memories are just lovely and I had a blast shooting. Below are some photos from the evening (click HERE to view a slideshow):
